Ghana and Philadelphia Union forward David Accam wants a change in approach to how the Black Stars prepare for various competitions if winning the next Afcon will become a reality.
Ghana missed out on the 2018 World Cup in Russia,a situation the pacy forward believes could have been avoided if certain procedures had been handled differently.
Ghana begun the Russia 2018 qualifiers under the leadership of Avram Grant but finished with Kwesi Appiah after the former refused to renew his contract.
While the ordeal of missing out on the World Cup still stings,Accam believes the new technical team in charge of the national team have started putting measures in place that bode well for the future.
“We have some of the best young players in Europe and have a team capable of beating any other in Africa.
“We need to prepare well and that’s the main issue because we don’t prep[are well.
“The new management and technical team are doing a really good job
“They are doing all that is necessary for us to do well at the next Afcon.
