Chief Executive Officer of Baby Jet Promotions Samuel Anim Addo has admitted the antics and showboating of Emmanuel ”Game Boy” Tagoe have become stale and has urged the boxer to vary his tactics.
Tagoe has come under intense criticism from fans after engaging in attention-getting playful behaviour in his world title fight against Fernando Saucedo on Sunday.
The 31-year old danced, acted like a drunkard and relaxed on the ropes to defend his IBO lightweight title.
Although he won, his antics has infuriated fans, who thronged the Bukom Boxing Arena, expecting a great spectacle.

”I will admit it’s time we[Baby Jet Promotions] tell Game Boy[Emmanuel Tagoe] to up his game and change his style of fighting because he is fighting for Ghanaians, who have shown they don’t like too many antics.” Anim said on Joy Sports Arena on Sunday.
We all agree that there are a lot of boxers who bring in the antics, from the Mohammed Ali’s and co but it is a hard time we let him[Tagoe] know that he has to reduce the antics.”
Anim Addo went on to render an unqualified apology to Ghanaians and promised that his boxer will exhibit professionalism in his next bout.
Tagoe is unbeaten, winning all 28 professional bouts with 14 coming by way of knockouts.
