Chief Executive Officer of Ghana premier league side, Kudjoe Fianoo, has admitted he is unsure about his future at the club, as new investors ready to take over.
Ashgold are in discussions with investors to take over the club from Anglogold Ashanti who have struggled to finance 4 time Ghana Premier League champions in the last two years.
And Fianoo, who has previously hinted on an exit, has now told Citi Sports he could leave the club if new investors come in.
“I’ve been briefed by Anglogold Ashanti that they are in discussion to bring in new investors,” he told Citi Sports.
“But the issue has not trickled down to Ashgold level yet, let alone management level.
“But it can happen that new owners would come in and would need new management to work with, which means I could leave.
“But we have not reached there yet. When we do, we will see what actions are taken.”
Fianoo returned to the miners for a second spell in 2009 and led them to a first premier league title in 19 years in 2015.
