Former Inter Allies defender Wahab Ackwei has completed his move to United Soccer League side New York Red Bulls II on a free transfer.
The 21-year old joins the likes of Solomon Asante, Latif Blessing and another former Inter Allies forward Ropapa Mensah in the United States second division.
The Ney York based club announced the signing on Wednesday, and their Head Coach John Wolyniec was full of praise for the Ghanaian.
“Wahab brings a unique skill set that we feel can adapt to how we play,” he said.
“We look forward to helping him integrate within the team as he continues his development here with us.”
Ackwei spent two years at Inter Allies making 61 appearances for the club.
