IBO lightweight champion Emmanuel ”Game Boy” Tagoe has challenged Isaac Dogboe to be his second opponent this year.
Tagoe is incensed with fans rating Dogboe ahead of him despite being Ghana’s sole world title holder.
Tagoe, over the weekend, was in the right to defend his IBO lightweight title and despite a 10th round technical knockout victory over Argentine Fernando Saucedo, he failed to convince.
Fans quickly drew comparisons with Dogboe’s performance two weeks ago when he defeated Cesar Juarez to win the interim WBO super bantamweight title.
In the eyes of boxing fans, Dogboe is better and this has infuriated Tagoe, who is ready to end Dogboe’s career.
”Stop comparing me with Isaac Dogboe, he is not ahead of me and what shows he can stop me?” Tagoe quizzed Asempa FM’s Immortal Acheampong.
”He has no magic, even if I am asleep and I’m called to fight Dogboe I will beat him.
I am in the lightweight division and he is super bantamweight but I will sacrifice and come to super featherweight so we slug it out.
Isaac Dogboe is just a small boy, who is enjoying a lot of hype but not strong to face me,” he added.
Tagoe is managed by Baby Jet promotions which is owned by Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, who tweeted on Monday to fuel matters.
He wrote: ”His father was bragging today. Smh. We are waiting for them paa. We talk and back it up. Game Boy will come down for him and we will all see that this is no match at all.”

Both boxers are unbeaten in their respective divisions and should they agree to slug it out, it would probably be the best selling bout in Ghanaian boxing history.
